SFI Town Hall Highlights Leadership Growth and One SFI Culture Through L.E.A.D. Training

Servicio Filipino, Inc. (SFI) held its Town Hall Meeting on January 23, 2026 (Friday), gathering leaders and employees from across the organization to reflect on progress, reinforce shared values, and align on the company’s future direction.
The event was hosted by Christine Abenoja and Miguel Huyong of the Human Resources Department.
The program opened with a prayer, followed by a raffle, setting a positive and unified tone for discussions focused on leadership, culture, and excellence.

Leadership Message from the President
SFI President, Mr. Luis Alberto Anastacio expressed his gratitude to employees, emphasizing that SFI’s success is built on the commitment and faith of its people.

“Everything we have achieved is because of you. Your contribution truly matters.”
He highlighted major initiatives including the Excellence Program, the push toward AI-enabled skills, the goal of achieving Investors in People (IIP) recognition within the second quarter, the launch of SFI Academy, and the company’s journey toward becoming a full-fledged IFM organization, alongside preparations for SFI’s 65th Anniversary.

These initiatives reflect SFI’s direction toward sustainable growth, leadership development, and a stronger One SFI culture—where people remain at the center of every achievement.
Recognition for ISO Achievements

During the Town Hall, Mr. Anastacio also formally recognized Ms. Gladys Torremoro and Mr. Claudio Luto for their leadership and dedication in achieving two major international certifications for the company:
ISO 14001:2018 – Environmental Management System (EMS)
ISO 45001:2015 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
The recognition highlighted their commitment to environmental responsibility, workplace safety, and compliance excellence—reinforcing SFI’s strong governance framework and people-first approach. President Anastacio emphasized that these achievements were not individual wins, but milestones made possible through teamwork, discipline, and shared accountability across the organization.
Operations and Service Excellence
Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Carlos N. Candelaria (CNC) emphasized that service excellence begins with leadership and accountability—from lead generation and winning contracts to delivering on commitments made to clients.

He shared that the Leadership Excellence for Advanced Development (L.E.A.D.) Training Program strengthened communication, ownership, and teamwork—reinforcing the One SFI mindset.
People, Culture, and Leadership Development

Asst. Vice President HR/Legal, Mrs. Annie S. Tiraña (AST) highlighted the cultural transformation driven by L.E.A.D.
“You were hired not just to do your job, but to become leaders.” - AST
She encouraged employees to continue learning beyond their roles and take pride in living SFI’s leadership culture.
HRM Manager, Mrs. Joy Sia shared that L.E.A.D. helped create self-awareness, open communication, and a shared language across teams—allowing individuals to acknowledge strengths and weaknesses and work better together.

Finance, Governance, and Integrity
VP for Finance Mrs. Belinda V. Ordoñez emphasized leadership through financial stewardship.

“Leadership means owning our responsibilities with integrity, transparency, and genuine concern for people.” - BVO
She stressed discipline in processes and accurate reporting as foundations of trust and sound decision-making.
L.E.A.D. Training Reflections from Leaders Across SFI
Leaders from various departments shared how the L.E.A.D. Training Program shaped their leadership, mindset, and personal growth:













Mr. Jeffrey Claveria, IT/MIS Manager, reflected on lessons in patience, listening, decision-making, and restoring balance between work, family, and personal well-being.

President’s Wrap-Up and Call to Action

In his closing message, Mr. Anastacio emphasized the scale and impact of the L.E.A.D. Training Program, noting that 25 leadership sessions were conducted in a short period—reflecting SFI’s strong commitment to developing servant leaders.
He shared that SFI is on track to become among the second to third organizations to achieve ISO Platinum, underscoring that true leadership means walking the talk and living out the values taught in the training.
“Success begets success. Carry SFI on your shoulders.”
Mr. Anastacio encouraged employees to take ownership of their growth, assuring them that SFI is committed to designing clear career paths for everyone. He described the organization’s progress as a testament to what can be achieved when people work with purpose, accountability, and unity.
“What we are seeing today is only the beginning of the results we will accomplish—successfully, together.”
He closed with a call to action, asking everyone to pay it forward, live out servant leadership daily, and help build a stronger One SFI culture for the future.
