SFI Strengthens Local Employment Efforts Through 3-Day Job Fair with PESO

Servicio Filipino, Inc. (SFI), successfully participated in a 3-day job fair in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) held across Los Baños, Manila, and Antipolo from April 30 to May 2, 2026 through its Recruitment Department.

The initiative was led by Mr. John Miguel Huyong, Sourcing and Recruitment Assistant, who served as one of the key initiators of the event. According to Huyong, the team was driven by a shared commitment

“To bridge the gap between local talent and meaningful career opportunities, turning professional aspirations into reality.”

The three locations were carefully selected because of their active and diverse talent pools, as well as their strategic importance as community hubs. By bringing recruitment activities closer to these areas, SFI was able to make job opportunities more accessible to applicants seeking immediate employment.

Throughout the 3-day activity, the event successfully connected hundreds of hopeful applicants with available job opportunities. One of the key highlights was seeing candidates receive on-the-spot job offers, reflecting the event’s immediate impact on job seekers and their families.

Huyong also emphasized the important role of PESO in the success of the activity, describing the office as SFI’s “invaluable backbone” for providing grassroots coordination and logistical support. Through PESO’s assistance, more applicants were guided to the event and given access to possible employment opportunities.
