Servicio Filipino Inc. held its latest Town Hall Meeting last Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Zorra Conference Room, bringing together internal employees for a meaningful session that reflected on recent initiatives and unveiled new organizational milestones.
The event featured key speakers from the Management Committee, HRAD Supervisors, and SFI President & CEO, Mr. Luis Alberto Anastacio.
Reflecting on the Team Building Success
The first segment of the program focused on celebrating the success of the June 27–28 team-building event. Photos from the event were showcased on-screen, with representatives from the Red, White, and Blue teams narrating their experiences and key takeaways from each challenge.

This was followed by the HRAD Manager, Ms. Joy Sia, who presented the results of the Team Building Survey. She addressed both the positive feedback and the constructive criticisms shared by participants. She assured everyone that all feedback would be taken seriously to improve future company events and activities. In closing, she emphasized that despite distractions and challenges during the event, what stood out most was the employees’ care for one another and their collective unity, true to the spirit of SFI.

Recognizing Exemplary Participation

An Award Ceremony was held to recognize employees who demonstrated camaraderie and strong character throughout the team-building process. Each awardee was called to the stage to receive a certificate and share a brief message of gratitude.

Members of the Management Committee—Ms. Annie Tiraña, Ms. Belinda Ordonez, Ms. Michelle Ramos, and Mr. Carlos Candelaria were also asked to share their reflections. They each expressed pride in how employees showed cooperation, unity, and compassion, proving that the value of being “One SFI” was truly lived out. They commended how no one was left behind during the activities and how teams supported one another throughout.
The segment concluded with a short video presentation by the Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Corporate Affairs (MSBDC) department, showcasing how their teams demonstrate collaboration and contribute to creating a happy and productive workplace.
CEO’s Message: “Train, Commit, and Move Forward as One”

During the town hall, SFI President & CEO Mr. Lloyd Anastacio delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting on the deeper purpose of the team-building activity. He emphasized that, beyond the socials and games, the event was designed to bring people together.
“I got to know our people better,” he shared, underscoring how the activities opened doors for genuine connections. He praised the employees’ response to the challenges, marked by effort, cooperation, and shared commitment. Recalling a moment when one participant separated from the group, he remarked, “When someone separates, it’s no longer ‘as one.’” He stressed that “As One SFI” is more than a theme—it’s a shared responsibility.
Anastacio likened the team boat challenge to the organization itself, symbolizing trust and strength, which only works when everyone rows in sync. He closed with a powerful reminder: “We all deserve to be happy and fulfilled in the work we do.” He encouraged everyone to train themselves, commit to the company’s goals, and move forward together—as One SFI.
Celebrating Milestones and Enhancing Employee Welfare

Following the CEO’s address, the HRAD team presented the significant milestones achieved over the past six months. Ms. Joy introduced the company’s new Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), explaining the medical expenses and accident coverages included in the package. She noted that the updated HMO will be a significant support system for employees’ health and overall well-being.

Another highlight was the launch of the new Salary Matrix and Adjustments, which took effect on June 1, 2025, under Memorandum No. 13-2025. Ms. Annie Tirana, AVP for HRAD, discussed the detailed criteria and breakdown of the salary increase. COO Mr. Carlos Candelaria first announced this development during the team-building session and was warmly received by employees, who welcomed the improvements to their pay on the 15th and at the end of each month.
Another proud moment was shared by Ms. Tiraña, as she announced that Servicio Filipino Inc. has been recognized at the Investors in People (IIP) Awards, with one of its team members winning Overseas Employee of the Year. She further shared the exciting news that SFI is now in the running to be crowned the No. 1 Gold Employer outside of the UK, being one of only five organizations globally shortlisted for the prestigious title. The recognition is a testament to SFI’s continued commitment to people development and organizational excellence on the world stage.
Welcoming New Hires and Reaffirming Commitments

Before concluding, the event welcomed the newly hired employees from the past six months, introducing each of them to the wider organization. The program ended with a tarp signing ceremony, held per department, signifying their pledge to “Road Map 2030: Our Commitment – Owning Our Future, Honoring Our Journey.”

Looking Ahead: A Unified Path Forward

The July Town Hall served as a reaffirmation of SFI’s ongoing commitment to unity, employee well-being, and shared growth. Through open communication, recognition, and alignment with the company’s long-term vision, the event reinforced what it truly means to be One SFI. With renewed energy, stronger connections, and a clear direction laid out through Road Map 2030, SFI continues to move forward by being together, committed, and ready for the journey ahead.
