SFI General Town Hall Highlights Shared Accountability, Growth, and Stronger Collaboration

Servicio Filipino, Inc. gathered its leaders and employees for a General Town Hall Meeting focused on the company’s direction for the fiscal year, the progress of each department, and the shared responsibility of achieving SFI’s corporate targets.

Opening the discussion, Mr. Carlos Candelaria emphasized that the company remains on the right track, while reminding everyone that the goal is not only to generate revenue but to translate it into profitability. He highlighted client retention as a major priority, stressing that every department is connected and that each employee’s role can either strengthen or affect the client relationship.

He also encouraged teams to remain mindful of expenses and ensure that every cost produces a clear and meaningful output. Along with growth and expansion, the company will continue to focus on operational efficiency, healthy cash flow, and full compliance with regulatory, ISO, safety, and other organizational requirements.

Representatives from the different groups also shared their commitments for the year. Mr. Albert Alano highlighted the importance of leadership development and expressed appreciation for the continued guidance of Sir Lloyd, particularly in strengthening the company’s LEAD training initiatives.

Mr. Andrew Santos spoke about dedication and reminded employees that everyone has value and contributes to SFI’s direction. Mr. Ernest Oliveros, meanwhile, emphasized accountability, teamwork, and the importance of maintaining a positive mindset as employees and leaders work together toward their common targets.

For Mr. Sandy De Veyra, protecting existing accounts remains a key priority. The group committed to strengthening relationships with major clients, identifying opportunities within current accounts, improving operational reliability, and building stronger coordination among the different support groups.

The Finance team also shared how each business decision has a financial impact.

Mr. Reinhart Fernandez recognized the improvements achieved by Finance through close collaboration with other departments. He explained that budget discipline does not mean automatically saying no to operational requirements. Instead, every peso spent should create value and support the company’s goals.

He also reminded employees that everyone contributes to the company’s financial targets and, ultimately, to the achievement of organizational incentives and rewards.

Ms. Shirley Monsalud discussed the importance of converting collections into actual cash flow. She recognized the guidance of BVO and the collaboration of different departments, which enabled the team to collect millions from terminated accounts. She emphasized that the company’s collection targets remain achievable when departments continue working together.

Ms. Katherine Perez expressed pride in the Treasury team for its role in processing transactions and protecting company resources while consistently following proper procedures.

Sharing her own journey, Ms. Tess General reflected on her growth from a rank-and-file employee to a managerial position during her three decades with SFI. She recognized the Payroll and Billing teams, as well as the departments and internal groups that supported improvements in their processes.

From the Audit team, Mr. Christopher Jandic reminded employees to trust both the company’s leaders and God. He explained that Audit works closely with all departments not merely to check compliance, but to help improve processes and protect SFI’s organization, assets, and reputation.

He also challenged employees to make excellence part of their daily work: not simply meeting requirements, but refusing to accept work that falls below SFI’s standards.

On recruitment, Ms. Reyna Mendoza acknowledged the challenges experienced during the previous year and shared the department’s plans to strengthen talent sourcing. These include recruitment caravans in schools and local government units, the shift from traditional hiring to technology-supported recruitment, and the use of artificial intelligence within the talent supply chain.

She also discussed the transition toward specialized recruitment pods, particularly for highly technical requirements, as well as the use of clearer performance data to support client needs and improve operations.

Ms. Gladys Ariane Torremoro emphasized that excellence is not achieved through certifications alone, but through consistent compliance and implementation. She shared how the Quality Management System supports proactive process improvements, employee training, and stronger procedures.

She reminded everyone that quality is not owned by one department. It is a shared responsibility that requires the active partnership of all teams.

Ms. Christine Abenoja discussed the company’s continuing people-development and sustainability initiatives, including the goal of achieving Investors in People

Platinum, employee reorientation programs, upcoming environmental certification and orientation activities, and Batch 5 of the LEAD program. She also recognized the employees who help make company events and internal programs successful.

Looking at technology and information security, Mr. Jeffrey Claveria shared plans to expand the application of artificial intelligence in daily work and company workflows during the fiscal year. He also emphasized the importance of protecting organizational data and reported that the company had experienced no cyberattacks during the year.

Mr. Allen Rafael II acknowledged the significant contribution of his team and committed to providing full support to the different departments so they can achieve their targets. He also recognized the company’s drivers for their dependable service.

Mr. Eugene Ale thanked the management team and his colleagues for their continued support. He highlighted the team’s responsibility to provide efficient service during every project go-live, deliver the required logistics and drivers, protect company assets, and consistently bring their “A-game.”

Mr. Jun Rubio also expressed his appreciation to the different departments for their support of Fixed Assets and its responsibilities across the organization.

Representing Sales and Marketing, Ms. Rianna Rodriguez-Roceta together with Mr. Jeremy Ocampo shared the department’s priorities for the year. These include generating qualified leads, strengthening the SFI brand, developing partnerships with associations and industrial organizations, and improving the company’s use of data and artificial intelligence.

She also emphasized the need to maintain a healthy sales pipeline that supports SFI’s financial targets and brings in clients that fit the company’s capabilities and direction.

Mr. Luis Alberto Anastacio closed the discussion by sharing his plans to strengthen recruitment through more caravans, job fairs, and partnerships with local government units. He also discussed initiatives to improve SFI’s management systems, develop service products that the company can offer to the market, and introduce AI-powered automation to make work processes faster, more efficient, and easier for employees. His message highlighted the importance of combining people, technology, and strong systems to support SFI’s continued growth.

More than a presentation of targets and accomplishments, the Town Hall served as a reminder that every department has a direct contribution to SFI’s success.

Through accountability, collaboration, financial discipline, service excellence, innovation, and faith, the company moves forward as one organization working toward a shared goal.
