I’ve been trying to find a better balance between my online interests and my real-world obligations lately. I realized I was spending way too much time searching for porn videos instead of actually focusing on my relationship or my hobbies. It wasn’t that the content was bad, but the amount of time I was giving it was out of proportion. I started setting a "timer" for my internet use, and it’s been a real eye-opener for how much time I was wasting. Does anyone else feel like they need to "re-calibrate" their digital intake every once in a while to stay grounded in reality?

Just scrolling through the "Recent Activity" and saw this. The idea of a "digital audit" is actually a really great suggestion for anyone who feels like they’re spending too much time online. I think we all struggle with that balance regardless of what we’re doing on our devices. I’m usually out hiking or working on my car over the weekends to avoid the screen fatigue myself. It’s cool to see people being so self-aware and supportive of each other here. I’m going to go check the weather for my next trip now, but this was a very insightful thread to read. Good luck with the re-calibration!
